1. Who we are

TxNow is a payment services brand operated by Techna-X Berhad (Bursa Malaysia: TECHNAX, 2739), with its office at Suite 25-08, Level 25, Menara Vista, 137 Jalan Puchong, 58200 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data in connection with the TxNow website, merchant registration and payment services, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

2. Data we collect

We collect the information you provide when you register for a merchant account, contact us, or use our services:

• Identity and contact details — name, identification (NRIC/passport) number, email address, phone number
• Business details — company name, registration number, address and state
• Banking details — bank name, account number and account holder name, used for settlement
• Website and integration details — your website URL and how you intend to integrate with us
• Technical data — device, browser and usage information collected when you visit the site, including data processed by Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms

3. How we use your data

We use personal data to assess and process merchant applications, perform identity and business verification (KYC), provide and support payment services, settle funds to your bank account, communicate with you about your account or enquiry, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and prevent fraud and abuse.

4. Who we share it with

To provide our services, we share your data with our acquirer, Souqa Fintech Sdn Bhd, and with other third parties where required — including payment schemes and networks (such as Visa, Mastercard, FPX, UnionPay, Alipay, Alipay+ and WeChat Pay), banks and settlement partners, identity verification and fraud prevention providers, and regulators or law enforcement where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data. Third parties receive only what is necessary for the purpose for which it is shared, and are required to protect it.

5. How long we keep it

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and afterwards for as long as is required to meet legal, regulatory, accounting or dispute-resolution obligations. Data that is no longer required is securely deleted or anonymised.

6. Security

We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to protect your account credentials.

7. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to and correction of your personal data, and withdraw consent to its processing (which may affect our ability to provide services to you). To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within the timelines required by law.

8. Cookies and third-party services

Our site uses only the cookies and similar technologies necessary for it to function. Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to Google's own privacy policy and terms of service.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, and material changes will be communicated to registered merchants.
